The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Yep, same. Got a "WOW" out of me.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostIt was good, but I don't think the second goal has got enough attention, it was one of the best goals I've seen in years.
The pass from Trent was a peach also, he saw how much space little Shaquille had in front of him. Played it as far into that space as he could with the ball stopping almost perfectly in front of him. Then a similarly looping pin point pass from the small one.
Same as Klopp though, at the time, accurate though the pass was I thought he had asked too much, it was a pass that was going to take a lot of taming.
Which meant it all fades into insignificance with the absolute majesty of Salahs first touch and the nonchalance of the finish. How he kills that ball having run 100m gave us another glimpse of the world class talent that he is.
I dont think there is another striker in the Prem that scores, and maybe only Messi/Ronaldo in the world.
Throw in that it all took place from a West Ham corner and was executed in 12 seconds.
Mesmerising. We are the only team that scores goals like that.Modifying post.

It was interesting to hear Eddie Howe say that they used to put less players forward at corners vs us and City alone for this very reason.Originally posted by Big-Red-Ed View PostIt must be so devastating for the opposition to have a corner and watch us explode forward like that and score within 12 seconds. Love it.

Even forcing that sort of tactical concession from our opponents is a good thing. A lot of these teams rely on set pieces for goals.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostIt was interesting to hear Eddie Howe say that they used to put less players forward at corners vs us and City alone for this very reason.
