Pulled up in training for the Spurs game. Minor muscle injury I think they said.

It's Matip so not expecting him to be back for West Ham. He has the durability of a sheet of loo paper caught in a downpour.

Henderson and Phillips at CB? Do we rest Milner and/or Thiago? Four games in 10 days.
              Another MASSIVE game

Absolutely no trace of Naby Keita again. ****ing unbelievable.

I'd go with this. Milner out for Ox.

                Alisson

                Trent
                Henderson
                Phillips
                Robbo

                Gini
                Thiago
                Oxlade-Chamberlain

                Salah
                Firmino
                Mane

...I guess Ox has to start making a contribution at some point this season, hasn't done so far. Would have Taki available to come off the bench second half too... he desperately needs game time... unless there's an underlying reason why he's being overlooked every week?

I didn't understand where the **** we could be certain that a diagnosis for ankle ligaments came so quickly last night? Klopp must have thrown this away like that without basis.

He might have sprained his ankle as it seemed he played through the pain barrier much of the first half.
                    Are we winning?

Klopp did mention the other day that Keita was doing strengthening work to help him overcome his issues. No surprise he's not ready yet.

Next three games are within 8 days including City. Do we rest Gini against West Ham and maybe Thiago too? Maybe play Gini in this one and rest him for Brighton:

                        Ox Gini Jones against WHam?
                        Milner Thiago Shaq against Brighton?
                        One tit for another.

That was spurs effectively put to sleep last night. Next up the Hammers. I'm thinking they will be a tougher nut to crack but us anywhere near our best will beat them 9 times out of 10

West Ham have a big physical strong and mobile team, especially in midfield and on the flanks. They have the players to go down the yard dog route if they need to disrupt play or can play the ball well when attacking.

I see this as a tougher game than against Spurs. That big midfielder, Soucek, has been very impressive every time I have seen him this season. Very physical player with good pace and seems to be able to go box to box all game. Breaks up play well and holds onto the ball well.

The one area we cannot afford to go less than full strenth against West Ham is in midfield. They are bloody good in the centre and have a few guys that are physical beasts there.
