Origi’s entire MO is about playing **** and doing **** all. And scoring. He’s 50% living up to expectations so far.
It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

Whip Derek immediately, absolutely zero effort. Such a placid guy too, useless in that half. Shaq great on ball but with him and Origi there's no press or urgency off the ball

Entirely different perspective on the game when you mute Neville and Tyler

Right out of the Southampton, West brom, Burnley playbook.

Bit reminiscent of some of the troubling performances of weeks past.
Little movement at times from the front. Relying on that 'perfect ball ove the top etc, not working the keeper etc

Still think the game is there to be won, but how long do you let the Origi experiment go on ?

Another game and a similar feel, severe lack of tempo.

I think the extra control is partly to do with managing games with a decimated defence, but the tempo in the final 3rd needs to be much faster.

We've controlled the game really well and limited their setpieces.

We have zero threat up front but considering the line up we're playing 100 times better than I imagined.

We are so many players away from our strongest XI (and those in their right positions) it’s ridiculous.

I was thinking in the first half that he shouldn't be anywhere near the ball unless it's in the box

Not a bad performance so far considering we are missing two starters in defence, two starters in midfield, two starters up front whilst up against a team that is physically strong, well drilled and not short in terms of being able to play well too.

Scrappy game but not bad. Phillips has done really well, but the front three haven't been great, and Milner not doing much.

Would have been easy to allow for it to be taken given the lost time for the GK to be taken

Theyre playing deeper than Spurs did, we've not got the space to work in. Spurs was the exception
