Yeah but you still get to look like a young Sean Bean and you get to mess about with the tinker girl.

And we get to scrap with the yank ( or Galwayman if we follow the play) by the stream.

Birdie Perkins does have a ring to it though

Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.

The pic is from a film adaptation of a famous play that was written by the great late John B Keane.

For my money Keane was the greatest of the Irish writers although I would be biased on that front. Anyone that wants to check him out should start with The Contracters or the Bodhran Makers. Two wonderfully written books that still have a very modern feel running through them despite them being written decades agao.

The Field was never a book/novel. It was a play only. What you see on the shelves in bookstores is the script of the play or film.

But it won't be an easy process. Make a mistake in the way we drop off and play the high defensive line and we could be conceding a few goals. That's the issue with signing centre backs in the middle of a season, unless they are Virgil Van Dijk.
If Fabinho is back I think he plays CB with one of the centre backs by trade Kabak or Phillips, with Henderson in midfield. There is a chance that both Fabinho and Henderson play CB but I feel if we want one in midfield it will be the captain.

If Fab and Henderson are both available I would put both in the centre with Thiago and gamble that such a big injection of quality to our midfield counters giving two new guys their debuts for us at CB.

If it is a choice of being able to only put one in midfield and one at the back. Then Fab at CB alongside Kabak and Henderson in the centre mainly as Fab has played CB more than Henderson this season.

But being able to play both Henderson and Fab alongside Thiago in the centre would be a big boost for us and would give that trio some game time together. Plus it would mean that we might have a full strength forward line and a full strength midfield at the same time for a change.

I just don't think we'd be willing to take that gamble we need someone who knows the system to organise the back line and 'babysit' the new guy through. I didn't think we would start either of the new guys in the City game but that was because I thought we might still have been in the title race. I'd be willing to risk a CB pair of Fabinho and Kabak but I think two new CBs is still just too big of a risk.

I actually was thinking last night that maybe Klopp would start both but with a twist.

Was thinking that he might start with three CBs. Kabak, Fab and Davies.

Fab pushing up when we are on the front foot and him dropping between the two when we do not have the ball.

                                so we would be switching between a 5-2-3 ( or 3-4-3) and a 4-3-3.

Or maybe going old school and playing Fab as a sweeper ahead of the two new CBs
