Thanjk you.

Season is a write off. Massive injury problems and the lack of
Fans have done for us and off the back of constant chopping and changing you can see a bit of confidence has been sucked out of the players.
It’s disappointing, and that’s an understatement but I’m hopefully that this is just a horrible freak of a season. Calls of Klopp being a coward and it’s the goalkeeper coaches fault just smack of people with incredibly short memories
Have a look at where City were after 23 games last season. And that’s with a relatively fit squad.
It's all about top 4 now and was even before this game. The title was already gone.
The CL is still there with all to play for beginning with Leipzig. Get through that and the QFs are in April. Who knows, we might be in much better form with real momentum by then. Get Kabak integrated asap and get Hendo back in midfield.
Two big targets still to go for. I wouldn't bet against us
I'm not doom and gloom about this. We've been undone by injuries and top 4 would be a pretty great result now. But I really fear what RBL could do to us in the CL. We are there to be roasted if things go badly.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
So glad I skipped this game, I'll skip the next one too because I just don't see us solving our issues until Henderson and Fabinho sit back in midfield.

IMO we should spend the next week getting a pair of CBs working together from Kabak, Davies and Phillips, get Henderson and Fabinho in midfield shouting orders at them. And go with that for Leicester

No, we're just inconsistent this season. Every other team is in the same boat with regards to fans.
In fact, we're doing really well in Europe, a place we associate with the twelfth fan more than anywhere.
Regarding Europe the fans are usually an important factor in the big knockout games not so much the group games. We got through the group but we lost at home to Atalanta so I wouldn't say we were doing really well in Europe, we did just enough, rather than excelling.

Why are we inconsistent though ? I think the fans play a massive part in our intensity in games and without them we seem to struggle.
This season I hope is a massive anomaly with how it’s being conducted (loads of games in short space of time, no fans and a ridiculous injury situation.)

We will bounce back
Fans do play a part clearly though the biggest issue is the loss of recognised CBs for a significant part of the season and playing Fabinho and Henderson out of position to accommodate. If the fans were there maybe they give the team a little extra boost so overcome that a little. We dropped points in one of the games where fans were allowed in (West Brom), although we did win the other 2 (Wolves 4-0 and Spurs 2-1 with a last min winner). I still think that there is something else with the team more or less since we won the league, but it's difficult to prove one way or another with so many other factors (lack of fans and injuries) also in play.

I know fans of other clubs will shout BS but the lack of fans is disproportionately hurting us more. Klopp has been clever cultivating the connection between team and fans since the first day he walked in.
Also, coming around to the idea that some players are pure performers, they need the crowd to up their game - I think Bobby falls into this category and while his game return wasn’t great last season, he’s looked well off for almost all of this.
