I'm past the shouting and posting emotional responses on social media. They need to deliver now, their Liverpool careers should be on the line. If we had VVD tonight, we'd say its basically full strength given the quality of Fabinho and Jones. No excuses tonight.

Other teams throw bodies in the way to block the ball. We just stand there with our arms behind our backs in positions that gave him a shot on goal

It’s baffling we don’t look to play a different way. This system is a busted flush.
We have a new defence and midfield set up every week, not sure you can suddenly start with a new system with that going on, particularly as the way we play is so ridiculously embedded. The super-drilled system that walked us through the league last year has become our achille heel in this one. I think it's really hard for us to change the way we play, even though what we have is clearly not working.

Drop the whole team back 10-20 yards. All we are doing is leaving space behind our back liine and congesting their defense. We have pace too, but we can't use it in general play because they have two lines back.

Cole and Redknapp showing how inept they really are when talking about football. The pair of them couldn’t find their way out of a wet paper bag...

I think it's harder for the manager than the players at this stage.

                    Hand ball ????

Nothing he could do.....VAR using sense. Of course, they were getting handed out left right and centre before

                      VAR says no to handball

Tonight I’d moan a bit about our v high line vs Werner - we are getting caught by long balls over Trent all night. We are getting chances but not sure we’ll score given the form of the forwards

I expect nothing given the **** show around the club but 5 loses at home in a row would hurt a lot. Lose tonight and top 4 is done
We have shaq on the bench. Salah (literally our only goal threat) in the middle, shaq on the right, Bobby in the ressies for a while.

Really seems to depend who you have working VAR.

Personally think that shouldn’t be a pen.

Looks like Fabinho has dropped back a bit already.

Good move there by us, although when it came back out all of our forwards and midfielders were stood there like statues.

I don't have a clue about the handball rule. If that's not handball why do defenders put their hands behind their backs at all?

...problem is the consistency of how it is interpreted. At Old Trafford that would be a pen...
