We'll also have no Salah and Mane because of the African Nations. I would include Keita but we won't have him anyway regardless of the Afcon. So we'll have to focus on one competition from the start, preferably the PL.

Gini has one good game then 5 anonymous ones.
That leaves Jones, who's handicapped by Firmino trying to occupy that same space (anywhere away from the goal for him will do ).

The press used to start with the forwards, backed up by the CMs and the fullbacks. The CMs don't have the legs and thus the press is useless.

Also useless is the high line as they don't have the legs to help the defence.

It just blows my mind that the reaction to CB injuries is to keep throwing the fullbacks so far forward when we know the opposition is going to play at least one quick striker off the shoulder of the CBs, and then not playing our world class CDM in CM to help cover them. It seems so obvious that firmino should be sacrificed in favour of a midfielder with enough bodies to compete and stop us getting overrun when we lose the ball. Clearly I'm no expert, but it just seems more logical. If you can't score then at least try and make conceding harder, and with Salah through the middle we'd still get goals.

What was the deal with Phillips and Davies, presumably injured? We need to play actual CBs in defence, get Fabinho back into midfield and try to get some balance to our side. Something needs to chsnge alot of players are off form but we should be doing better than we are. 4 goals in the last 6 games is shocking. Mane looks like a shadow of his former self, Firmino looks like he's playing in a testimonial, there is no goal threat from anyone other than Salah, hopefully Jota will chsnge that.

We cant keep on assuming that it is all just going to click into gear, when its not clicking into gear.

I literally wouldnt care if we lost having tried something different with our formation, we definitely have the players to do so. Who knows. We might even win, because we tried something different.

Thiago is really good on the ball, but defensively doesn't have the legs in a three when we are not dominating the ball. He is a luxury player, and these are not luxury times.

Redknapp is absolutely spot on, zero pressure or pressing anymore, so many examples. Thiago strolls around, Jones strolls around, Bobby's intensity has dropped off a cliff, same with Trent and Robbo.
