Yes 100%. Although it's probably too late now. He had been playing regular for Preston, match fit and confident. He's now been sitting on his arse for 5 weeks.

What's so hard about playing a centre back at centre back that has some games under his belt?

Why throw Kabak in when he's come from a relegation team in Germany and he looked **** then let alone coming into a new country and an out of form team aged just 20. He's the bigger risk.

Gomez - out for season
Matip - out for season
Fabinho - just back from injury
Henderson - out until May
Kabak - injured?
Phillips - injured?
Davies - just back from injury?

He was unlucky with that horrible injury for sure- but that was 3 years ago! If he hasn’t rehabilitated by now, it’s on him, in my book.

We are riddled with injuries, and are playing midfielders in defense... and Ox still can’t get in the starting 11! He’s kept out of the team, by the apprentice, Curtis Jones! Jones earns £7,500 a week (similar salary to myself). Chamberlain is getting £120k per week! ie 16 times Curtis Jones’ salary! I say get rid of him and use the saved money to make gini an offer he can’t refuse, Don Corleone style!

That’s not how injuries work, and he just came back from a 2nd serious knee injury 3 months ago.

He could have done everything possible in his rehabilitation, but that doesn’t guarantee you get back to anything like the level you were before.

Are Gomez and Ox close to the end of their contracts? We need to get them off the wages asap, even or specially when they are fully fit and ready to play.

Same goes for Shaq, Keita and Origi. This is going to be a tough summer with even less money and so many replacements.
