Maybe let’s try that pair with Thiago.
I'll put it out there and say we'll start playing much better if Gini is left out. He does nothing wrong on plain sight, but he is so slow at releasing the ball, too many touches, and his passing is really conservative and not in stride.

Was really surprised to hear Klopp praise him the other day as I think he's been a poor engine room.

One advantage of being about six months into low level depression is that I'm not anywhere near as arsed as I should be.
Maybe when the weather gets better I might be start getting upset again when we lose.

This. Only seems to be domestic opposition that have worked us out though, on the continent managers haven't yet received the secret pdf file that reveals exactly how to nullify everything we do hence why we're doing much better in the CL.

Either go back to heavy metal football or develop a new playing system because the style we've been using the last 3 years is done and dusted.

I find not watching any of our league games much easier to take. Eventually I'm aiming for not even checking the scores and eventually not giving two ****s. This is no longer the same sport I fell in love with.

The style that we have been playing the last 3 years had us top of the league earlier in the season so that alone is not the problem. Injuries have undoubtedly caused issues but CV19 illnesses might have damaged players beyond repair. They might never recapture what they were. If our players are as asthmatic as we say and it is not just a TUE ploy for medication then they would be in the more susceptible category

We actually played quite well second half.

If the real Sadio Mane showed up then we’d have scored. Jota got a brilliant shot, his form was encouraging. Keita was good.

Most of the team that finished the game looked good

No idea what is up with Trent either?

Yet you'll be here for the next game and the next as we all will mate. I know it's ****e, the season is effectively a write off but we will pull through and things will improve.

I can't remember the last league game I watched.

Longest run in my life not watching a game.

It's started and I don't think it's changing anytime soon.

I thought we were just as bad in the second half, the only difference being Fulham were happy to sit back as we are easy to defend against most of the time. Keita imo likes the rest of the midfield were terrible, so slow and predictable and gutless.. well the whole team is gutless to be honest.

Fab back in midfield & Jota gaining fitness are nice to see though.

That's the falling thing. So many times we needed a pass forward when breaking, take a chance it comes off. I stead, we stop, wait, pass, side to side, oh and now Fulham are set again. I can't believe our once so lethal counter is gone

Klopp after today's game : "We never had a momentum in the season," added Klopp. "You can see it's still in the boys. They still have it all but at the moment can't show it.

"It would be a masterpiece to find out how we change that overnight."

Of course he does, our entire defence is injured, his mum died, Alisson's dad died, there's no crowds, our players keep getting injured, our players are knackered and can't put in the energy required to win games, and teams like City go on 21 game winning streaks because the people running football are incompetent ****s and haven't seen fit to penalise them for financial doping.

I think that is why I get frustrated with pass completed stats etc, risk free, afraid to lose possession or take a chance so then nothing actually happens. Any runs by the front lads (who knows if they even do that anymore) are not spotted or found and teams just get into their setup and compact the box, the ball goes out to Trent or Robbo who either shank/under hit the cross (usually hits first man) or if they do manage to somehow get it into the box it is easily cleared as we have zero aerial threat. To watch this happen time after time after time after time is frustrating. We don't know how to attack any more, there is no dynamism or speed to our attacks and it kills who were are as a team.
