To be fair Keita is essentially replacing him and Keita has done sweet so for Liverpool. Probably has 90% possession stats but has been garbage and is an absolute pussy. Shaq and Milner been so poor too. Dreadful midfield display.

Plenty in the media were quick to say that Thiago was the problem and without Thiago the likes of Wijnaldum and Milner would do well as they were experienced PL players.

We have had both of them in today and our passing is worse, it is slower, more ponderous, and we are losing possession even more.

Keita has not done anything either today but then he is a guy having his first game back in a while whereas the other two are meant to be savvy pros.

Does not matter what clever player or great passer we put into the team right now, when there are at least two others playing like carthorses slowing things down and not closing down the other team's midfield. You could pick any midfielder you like in the game today and you drop him into our team today with Wijnaldum and Milner beside him in that form and today's backline behind him, and he will look like crap.
