    Headgear unfortunately does nothing to prevent concussion/brain injury. Just stops bruising/cuts. It's thought that the double impact of the headgear slapping against the skull actually administers additional (secondary) damage to the initial blow.

      What's the take on Kabak tonight? Thought he did well, him and Phillips might be competing for our 4th choice next season.

        Both him and Phillips did well, individually and as a pair, not sure what the long term situation with either will be for either of them though.
        The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

            If Sadio’s in form that’s a comfortable win for sure. Some decent stuff from most players tonight & a win is a win so hopefully confidence will grow.

              Thinkn it's because nearly everyone has forgotten what a league win feels like. Great result but I'm not expecting to make top four. This game was simply good practice to get Phillips and Kabak further acquainted, which they did fantastically.

                Three points against a useful team. Will take that.

                A few nice performances in there as well so that is a bonus.

                Couple weeks now for players to stay fit and/or get over knocks.
                I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

                          That missed header is his bread n butter hey. Should definitely have scored that one.

                          Thing is about him is he’s not getting past defenders of around keepers like he used to do. They’ve seemingly got him worked out.

                            I thought that’s where he was starting to look better again last night.

                            I don’t think they’ve got him worked out, he’s just not firing on all cylinders at the minute.
