Real Madrid vs LIVERPOOL - Champions League QF 1st leg
We really owe the ****ers one after the CL final in 2018, hopefully Mo will be well up for it and stick a few past them
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Think it is a more even game that it would have been a month or two ago.
They have had a share of injuries, especially in the back line, so they have some weaknesses at the back compared to normal although I would say their CB back ups are more experienced and quicker than ours are.
Midfield is going to be one hell of a battle. I suspect they are going to overload the midfield a little and rely on wing backs for their width.
Fabinho and Casemiro facing off as the CDMs is massive for me. Both are close to being the best in the world in that role and both bring a lot of the same qualities and both are in very good form.
Then we get the guys who will be sitting with the CDMs. We have Thiago and they will most likely have Modric. Again a hell of a high bar being set there on both sides.
It is the third CM where it gets interesting. We will most likey go with one from Wijnaldum, or Keita (probably Wijnaldum) and they will go with one from Kroos, Velvarde or Isco and then maybe have Asensio sitting behind Benzema. Isco being able to drift wide as can Asensio.
And that still leaves them with the likes of Vinicius Junior, whichevr of the midfielders do not start, and Rodrygo on the bench.
Think this will be a very tasty game as will be the second leg
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.
