I thought our passing hasn’t been great, sloppiness at times allowed them to run at us when we’re not well positioned in midfield. Finishing poor as well, by how many goals should we be up, 3 or 4? Story of our season.

Entertaining game. But we’ve got four strikers on the pitch and only one is a goal threat today. That’s piss poor. To be fair to mane, his instinctive play is still impressive, but what he has time to think he’s hopeless. Bobby hasn’t been able to find much space or use the ball, but that might be as much the shape of the team as his form.

Feel it might help to keep robbo more defensive going forward and stick Mane out wide, hugging the touch line. Stretch their defence and leave more space for Bobby and Jota in the centre.

I think there are intangible mental aspects of playing in front of empty stands. Motivation etc.

Games like this make you realise that we aren’t as far away as all that with a full squad, full stands and maybe a signing or two.

High line hasn’t been the issue, is losing balls in situations when not ready to defend the first loose ball, allowed them to run at the defence.

It's been the last couple of starts from Jota in terms of performance but he's came back from a long injury and probably ran off adrenaline. He's also been almost prefect since signing, he gets a pass for me.

Mane/Robertson have both been far from good enough but as someone said above. When Mane is forced into stuff, he does ok.
