This type of protest tends to attract the dickhead element of the fanbase and never ends well. Seen it time and time again.
United should have some sort of penalty or points deduction for their lack of policing and security... total **** up. They’re at home so they should be used to penalties...

By that reasoning we should be having points docked for smashing coach windows, surely?Originally posted by Tribute View PostThis type of protest tends to attract the dickhead element of the fanbase and never ends well. Seen it time and time again.

If we’d have prevented the match happening, sure. Although that wasn’t our security lapse, rather the police. But still.Originally posted by Venton View PostBy that reasoning we should be having points docked for smashing coach windows, surely?Trey Nyoni: countdown to stardom-2 years1year0.5 years

It’s all bollocks though isn’t it? The same fans will be up in arms if they don’t sign Sancho or Halland this summer. So what do they want? Different owners! Who can afford a £billion pound asset? So the supporters want owners with a different business model? So you get some human rights abuser in trying to boost their PR. Football supporters at the top level want it all, the success, the signings, the morally sound owners (?).Originally posted by Venton View PostA lot of United fans hated and still hate the glaxers. Not sure where the difference is between us and them on this. Good on them.
And then you think of fan ownership... but these are the fans so that’s not looking appealing either.
As was mentioned nobody gave a **** when Hicks had us leveraged to the point of insolvency.
FSG seem naive, but their business model seems about as good as you can get. And even then, we don’t have the resources to compete with Utd, City, Chelsea.
Football is ****ed until the playing field is levelled.Modifying post.

Well, you are a man of your word, and I expected nothing less actually, but then you're constantly held hostage to your worst elements. As a country we've had the idea of protest beaten our of us, and we need it back. Taking it off the plate because there will always be a percentage of numpties is not proportionate in my view.Originally posted by Tribute View PostYep, we should have been fined or had points deducted for the actions of those numpteys... very lucky not to.Experimental music, Metropolitan foodstuffs, Mexican wrestler art, London suburbia, wry whimsy, fansy pants flim flam lad

Far too many people see ‘a peaceful protest’ as an excuse for a ruck.. check out Grizz Khan’s tweet of the peaceful protest where a policeman has had his face cut...
Peaceful, my arse.

By that yardstick you'd ban all protests given they will always attract a dickhead element.Originally posted by Tribute View PostFar too many people see ‘a peaceful protest’ as an excuse for a ruck.. check out Grizz Khan’s tweet of the peaceful protest where a policeman has had his face cut...
