Its stuff like this that makes Roy Keane hate Utd as well, which is always great. It must be weird for the fanbase to have this ex player who is a bit of a legend, always mouthing off about the club, and not about the Glazers (ZZZzzz) but about all the bollocks they see on the pitch.

Another thing that I hadn't realised is that we had to arrive on decoy coaches last night. Nothing seems to be being done about this? That was one fixture called off and another almost, and there seems to be zero blowback for them. Sets a dangerous precedent for next season.

They get such an easy ride. Moaning about owners that have poured a Billion quid into the squad because they dont like the fact that the investment is leveraged.

...he's terrible with the ball on the deck, it's either mis-controlled and he loses it, a wayward pass or just straight out of play. When we bought him, people raved about his distribution but I've never seen it evidenced. He's not even as quick as Reina used to be setting up attacks when we need to... he was awesome at that and created many a team goal because of it.

Ali's a good shop stopper but I struggle to see him on a par with Edison or Neuer for distribution...

he is totally different with distribution with Gomez, VVD, FAB & Hendo in the side. Those make it so much easier with their positioning; which frees up TAA/Robbo.

Take last nights rick early on; had it been VVD in place of Rhys he would have been 20yds further left & then Ali has an easier pass or more options as cavani couldn't cover both.

TBH...I'm hoping that it is just a case of personnel, as while he had a ruck in him, it was rare and a complete outlier in a wonderful defensive unit who had near mastered playing out from the back.
Right now, those lads trying to ping it around the back are bringing back painful memories of the Mig in goal.
Passes short, passes long, passes to the wrong side of the keeper, heads down........any team with half a brain would shift up 5yds against us

I agree, but it wasn't as if Ally didn't know he was playing with inexperienced players so he should not be expecting world class positioning. If that had been YOU in goal you would have launched it and that's what he should've done as well.
