I thought we were excellent in parts, sharpness returning. Can't read anything in the scoreline but things look promising. Elliot, Naby, Ox, Taki played well today, Mo and Sadio all look sharp and are only going to get better.

Thought we were much the better side alright. Hopefully in the next two games we'll get the result we deserve. Be nice to get some more wins under our belt before the season starts.

It’s only been 2 full games, with multiple subs throughout too. We’d have put it away early in the second half with Salah and/or Mane still on.

Our pre-seasons are often mixed bags in terms of results. 2019/20 was awful in that regard, that didn’t harm our proper season though. The results aren’t important, it’s about using the games for conditioning, getting back up to speed and shaking off the rust.
