Nike insisted on them. Felt they'd ruined the away strips enough so have started picking on the home top.

More or less....VVD coasted the first game with very little to do, bit more for Gomez to worry about in the other as the 2nd game seemed more competitive.

No he won't, he's been on a downward trajectory for 3 seasons now. Cant see him suddenly springing back to life. His finishing is getting worse and worse and last season his pressing and "all round" game were non existent.

Fair point.

Although we won the PL, CL and achieved 99 and 97 league points, imagine what we could have done with a proper CF.

With Jamie Vardy there we'd have won the World Cup, Cup winners cup, Superbowl, Masters, Family Fortunes and Crufts.

It confused me as well. While they had the spare tops, they didn't have the full kit available, hence the mishmash.
