Why is everyone saying Son won the Golden Boot when he was joint top scorer with Salah? Don't they share the award?

UPDATE: Yes they do - **** off Spurs.

They presented the golden boot to Salah at the end of our match (obviously shared with Son). Salah also got the assist award. They presented Alisson with golden glove too (shared with Ederson).

If we're going to lose to City by one point now and again we're going to have to start taking points off them in the league a bit more often. Hopefully next season we'll start to show that.

We only lost 4 games this season.

One of them obviously massive. It’s a strange season when we play so well, win 2 trophies, only lose four games and yet find ourselves disappointed.

We will hopefully being in some reinforcements and then go again next season.

So many big games over the last 3 months has been tough going. We came very close.

I’ll get to where you are in a few days - European Cups don’t come around often which is so frustrating we did t take it last night. On reflection this morning we let ourselves down a bit last night. We were too safe, not aggressive enough and many of our guys under performed - you are always told to have no regrets after you step off the pitch, leave it all out there…….all those cliches and I think a few of ours will be disappointed in themselves.

Oh and ref was a ****ing disgrace and UEFA can go **** themselves

Massive missed opportunity last night. As I think I said it is so similar to 2007. We played well. We just didn’t take our chances.

Was strange to see Real so defensive they didn’t press at all. But they go home with the trophy and that’s all that matters.

But that seems like a pattern, it’s like the whole football world has cottoned on to it; play as deep as you can imagine, and then a bit deeper than that and Liverpool will struggle to break you down. We usually find a way in the end, but it gives good teams a punchers chance.

I hope Klopp is fully focused on setting up to win early league games next season. No dropped points for something like 6 games in a row. Put real pressure on City from the start. I just want the PL.

By 'setting up' I mean no Henderson and maybe more Tsimikas with his delivery, dead ball and none dead ball. Go for the jugular with skill and forward thinking without being gung ho. Hope Klopp puts players out there on merit rather than loyalty.

We played well enough yesterday, dominated the game - especially in a final like that, but we just could not put the ball in the net. Quite strange that this team has been the highest scoring team in world football and haven't managed to score in 3 cup finals. Something I'm sure the analysts will look into. Maybe a bit of stress and lack of calmness in front of goal in certain situations, or decision making.

It's very fine margins. Against Real, you need to score when you're on top as they're the masters or going through difficult situations, it's their experience. We've still got loads in this team and this final will serve them well.

We're winning the league and the CL next year.

It’s been an amazing season and if only winning two trophies is a disappointment then we’re in not too bad place all in all.
