Thought that would have shown thread. It goes on to say we are refusing to let players travel to Red countries, but will allow amber, so Salah can play against Gabon away, but not their match in Egypt.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

What is FIFAs view on this? This approach was allowed around feb/March by Fifa but I thought players had to be made available now?
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Reading articles that are a couple of months old the suggestion is that around Feb/March FIFA were allowing clubs to not release players if they would have to quarantine for 5 or more days on their return. The suggestion is that this is no longer the case and player are expected to be released for international matches. I guess this means that the players could be made unavailable to us if we refuse to let them go. I suspect that the leagues will be lobbying in the background as losing high profile players will be bad for the 'product'. Suggestion seems to be that FIFA want the government to grant exemptions but government are unlikely to do so...

There will definitely be a compromise somewhere.

Already sickening that our South Americans will be playing 3 games in a week, never mind having to quarantine. Fabinho should follow Matip's example and retire from international football seeing as he's criminally undervalued by Brazil.

I know that this is a completely different world, but I was recently looking into travel insurance and basically you can't get cover to go to countries that he UK foreign office advises against travelling to. I wonder how (if at all) this affects footballers as presumably insurance is a massive issue when players are valued at 10's to 100's of millions of pounds and how this comes into this situation. I can imagine that clubs won't be happy if they have to pay increased fees for players to go to international games and would expect the national sides to cover that for them, but for the smaller or poorer FA's this would presumably be a problem??

No idea how it works, but in relation to holiday insurance, if you have a policy that pre-sates Covid, certain companies will still cover you.

We renewed ours recently and they confirmed that we're covered for Covid and price didn't change.

Even if they have matches on Thursdays?
Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

Neither Everton or Arsenal will have to play on Thursdays this season......and even Spurs are only in the Europa Vauxhall Conference or whatever it's called........****in hilarious that both Arsenal and Everton didn't even make that considering the cash they've spunked on players over the last couple of years.
