Thanjk you.

I hadn't even thought about Stevie resting players
Unfortunately I don't think it will happen, because the Burnley game will be their last home game of the season, and they will want to finish with a strong team/result for that.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Been a slow process of acceptance since Spurs. But there is still that little bit of hope. Winning it at home. At Anfield. last day of the season would be epic.
Feck off.
It is full on we are going to do it until it reaches a point where we cannot, and even then I will be expecting someone to say the scorecards are wrong and we get awarded the title anyway.
No acceptance, no compromise for as long as we have a pulse.
Ring the ding ding and start swinging for another round.
And if for some reason we do not win it this weekend, then we are going to storm the league next season. Not might storm it, not in with a good chance, we WILL crush it next season.
Full on if you believe you cannot be beat then you will not be mode.
Just wait until Sunday. ****** strut turned to 11, Hagler glare etched on face, throat raw, shoulders sore from throwing air punches, music blaring, air blue from cussing and still having hours to go to the actual kick off

I've come to terms with finishing second now and have done for a few weeks. I'm totally proud of our league campaign this season. Im sure we will beat Wolves but cant see City slipping up especially at home. But yiu never know. We have 2 cups in the bag already with a CL final to come. Only 3 defeats in all comps all season. Im not greedy..
Yeah whatever happens we are posting an insane number in the League again. On for 92 points. Will it be enough? Most likely not... but maybe.
I'm good with 2nd in the league, made my peace with it & I'm not giving up just being realistic is all. I know people were saying don't be defeatist etc and I understand that. My point was we are playing the odds. Klopps team selection last night said all you need to know. We have to rest our big players, we'll beat Wolves imo but chances of City dropping points to Villa at the Ethihad are slim. I ll watch in hope but I see City full tilt first 15 mins like they always do and scoring and that be that. What you want is nil all for first 30 or so and fans and players to get a bit nervous. Villa play very similar to West Ham on the counter and csn be dangerous but if City play to their best, they ll beat them easily. The league is out of our hands whereas vs Madrid we rely on ourselves and we can effect the outcome. As said previously, I wasnt giving up or being defeatist just felt that we are playing the odds and prioritising what is in our control.
What do you do like, it's an impossible situation playing literally every single game in a calendar year, it's been the best year I've personally ever experienced as a LFC, stomach churning and emotional, crazy match threads as discussed but you wouldn't change it for the world and we may never be this involved in all comps like this again
Annoying thing is Madrid won the league weeks ago and already rested Benz, Vini and Tibo vs Cadiz. They have been able to rest and manage their big boys whereas we are desperately trying to manage our squad.

Last night's game was a different scenario to the Wolves game and the CL final.
We played 120mins and pens on Saturday, he rested players because of the short time between games. We now have 5 days between Southampton and Wolves, we will go full strength vs Wolves because 1) we have a chance of the title, 2) We had the chance to rest players against Southampton 3) We want to keep momentum going for Paris, we don't want to have 2 weeks between games going into a CL final for the players involved.

Klopp’s team selection last night was all about the fatigue and fitness levels in the squad, not the state of the title race. He wanted the game on Thursday which tells you he wanted to go stronger.
Yes the likelihood is that City win against Villa, Klopp has said he thinks they will, but he still completely intends to take advantage if they don’t. He hasn’t prioritised any of the competitions this season, he’s gone for everything.

He has, and imo he has shown City up in doing so as with the team and resources City have, they should be in the running for all four pieces of silverware right up to the final games of the season every single season.
The fact they are not does not get highlighted enough.
We have been brilliant this season and not one person involved with the club should be anything but proud of themselves. They have given everything and in dong so given us supporters another amazing season full of drama and hope.

Could Stevie get away with resting a few tomorrow in their final home game? If not it is a massive advantage to City as they should be very well rested.
As an aside why are tomorrows games being played tonight? Is it just because of the Europa League final?
