Much to improve upon. Jota is getting a bit more involved which wasn't hard to improve on. Tsimikas is a boost - Robbo should get a few rests this season. Matip oozes class, hoping he can play more than half a season. Getting bullied a bit on 50/50s and the balls in the air far too much.

Think Jota needs to work on his link up play. Only thing making him ahead of Bobby at the moment is his goal scoring prowess.

Apart from that, decent half with some really good football. Elliot has been good, as I expected. Was a great pass to Salah’s goal. Naby been good as well and Tsimikas I think will make Robbo work hard to get back in.

Been sloppy at times and Burnley have been a pain in the arse with their direct football and time wasting tactics at the beginning.

Decent first half. In front and could have had one or two more.

Burnley have done what they usually do...a mix of yard dogging and diving so are a handful as always.


Fully expect us to score a few times in the second half though, and look that bit more cohesive when Bobby and Thiago come on against tiring legs.

Also we do look quite good as a unit for the most part and that is with three starters (Fabinho, Thiago and Robertson) missing from the first XI.

Few players, like Tsimikas, Elliot and Keita, starting to show over the last game and the first half that if we can avoid injuries the drop off in quality between starter and back up in a few positions is not as stark as it has been in recent times.

Trent with powerful forward running, bagpuss putting some decent crosses in, keita very wasteful and slowing up the play with his two steps forward and one step back shuffle.
