Maybe I missed this but surely you don't get a red and a pen under the double jeopardy rule.

Yeah you could read it all over his face when he was waking away.Originally posted by Kenneth View PostHe definitely deliberately played the ball with his arm. Probably a reflex reaction, but he did it and stopped a goal. No real argument.
This is a good Chelsea team though, so work to do in the 2nd.

Woah, what a half of football, had a bit of everything.
The team can still go up a gear or two, Chelsea played a decent enough half but so did Liverpool and that incident should hopefully swing the game.Y.N.W.A!!!!!!

For me he's cheating to deny a goal. A pen doesn't make up for the loss of a goal, a red for me is fair in these situations. But I get why people don't like it.Originally posted by Scratch View PostDon't agree with the red card, they've been punished by the award of a penalty, they (or us, if it was the other way round) shouldn't be punished twice for one incident, unless it is foul play. A rule I've never liked really.Vive la France

We've played well I think, conceded a bit of a flukey goal, no way Havertz was aiming for that, he just tried to move the ball along. Deserved to be level, with Chelsea mainly playing on the counter. Lukaku does look a bit like a carthorse playing against Virgil, his touch letting him down a few times. Are we winning?
