Not all of us Buzzo, I'm still very much optimisticOriginally posted by Buzzo View PostThird isn’t scraping top four though.
We rallied and deserved top 4. You can’t argue with it over 38 games. I mean, you probably could. But third is third. We got it because we won loads of games on the bounce at the end of the season.
It’s miserable as **** in here. Jesus.
We could and probably should have gutted those ****ers, but I'll feel far worse when we get outplayed, which we definitely didn't today.
Those supposed Liverpool supporter pricks that seem to have it in for Sadio can **** off by the way.

I love the guy but he is off form from what we know he can be - I fully support him but am disappointed by his performances......... that doesn’t warrant me having to **** off Pablo

I thought we were decent for the first 15mins or so but then Chelsea came back into it and were the better side for the rest of the first half. Sending off obviously changed the game and Chelsea set out to frustrate and did it well. We had a decent opening 15-20mins of the second half but Chelsea then got their shape and we couldn't break them down. We really seem to lack a cutting edge at times. I was disappointed that Jota didn't start as he gets goals. For me Mane still isn't right, and Firmino for all he brings elsewhere in the team his goal numbers aren't and never have been great (aside from 1 season). If those three start, if Salah doesn't get the goals it's difficult to see where they come from. I think we are going to regret not bringing in another forward in this window. We badly need Mane back to the form of the title winning side.
I know games change on big decisions and if it had stayed 11 vs 11, the game would have been more open, but we would have needed to have improved significantly second half to get something out of the game if it weren't for the pen and red card. The red card should have given us the opportunity to get the win and for that reason it's two points dropped.Last edited by Exiled_red; 28-08-21, 08:05 PM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

[quote=Irishnev;3732119]I honestly don't think he deserves the stick he's getting. He's clearly giving it everything and he's still causing problems (he won us the penalty, and caused the red card). He seems to be becoming a scapegoat which is mad. Maybe don't **** off NevOriginally posted by Pablo View PostNot all of us Buzzo, I'm still very much optimistic

, but I think he deserves a bit more patience and respect.

OK, so we deserved third. The two who were better and the one behind are better now. We don't have the financial power to keep up. We are still a good side, we will compete for top four again. Today was poor because we failed to take a gifted opportunity and need all the points that are readily available. We failed by playing poorly. I'm not miserable and I don't think that's particularly negative either tbh.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostThird isn’t scraping top four though.
