Football is hyperbolic we know that, he’s been off for 18 months now and I hope he turns it around. I fully respect what he has done for us but I’m getting impatient now

The bar has been set pretty high now for apoplexy after a game.
What's it going to be like if we lose a match? Death threats?

We failed by playing poorly. I'm not miserable and I don't think that's particularly negative either tbh.

Hyperbolic, we were we poor and should have beaten 10 men at home? Hmmmm

I love the guy but he is off form from what we know he can be - I fully support him but am disappointed by his performances......... that doesn’t warrant me having to **** off Pablo [/QUOTE]

His form has certainly taken a dip the last year or so. The problem is that in the team that started today him and Salah are the main goal scoring threats if he is off form the only significant threat in the side is Salah. At the moment Salah (and Jota when he plays) aside it's difficult to see where the goals come from.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Because life and football is a given? Would have thought that that last 2 years would have change our prospective.

Mane is the one player with a fair bit of value that I would've been fairly happy to move on in the summer. He's been pretty avaerage for the last 18 months. He's not alone though to be fair.

I don't know what it is with him. We know he can do it because he's done it before, tearing up teams. There was a moment today where he received the ball on the wing and sprinted down the line, but as soon as he got to the defender he just stopped, stock still. A year ago or so he'd have skinned them left or right, dropped his shoulder and been past them, but he just seemed to stop. I'm guessing it's a confidence thing, he doesn't seem to be any slower.

Either that or some kind of exhaustion physical or mental after all the football of the last few years.

The issue for me is the lack of options, I prefer Jota through the middle, which means he comes in for Bobby but there is still no real cover options for Mane or Salah, if there were I think Mane would have been dropped by now, but our system doesn't work without him.

You’re always hyperbolic, never have seen a measured reply in here from you. We played against 10 but it’s Chelsea, not Norwich or West Brom. It’s not a given teams who have a numerical advantage wins these type of games.

It’s hyperbolic to state not beating Chelsea 3 games into a season is a disaster. If you’d said disappointing maybe people would have engaged with you a bit more.
                          Are we winning?
