Why can't Atalanta go in our group? If they can go in group C it is not the half of the draw that is the problem and there is no existing team from Italy in it

And yet the Super League was criticised (rightly so given the proposed format) as being a way to maintain the status quo for the big clubs.

Thankfully we will have the saviours of football, Nevilla and Carragher, to speak out against it and amaze us with their intellect once again.

Don't forget the new proposals for the CL include a wildcard for the highest 2 teams that fail to qualify on merit so its nearly as closed as the super league was.

They’ve signed an excellent replacement in Mike Maignan + they ha e some superb players but I agree they are not at our level
