Good half. Sharp passing and met them head on in terms of intensity and physicality. A bit sloppy in the final third but solid.

Movement was immense then missed a sitter.

That pass from Jota wasn’t good enough though.

We’re playing very well but need to score more. Leeds will come back and have a period when they’ll push us back in the second half.

I reckon we’ll score more on the counter though as Leeds press on.

I can see exactly why he's still in the team as he offers so much in his all round game, particularly tracking back and pressing, but he's changed massively when it comes to actually sticking the ball in the net. At the end of the half he was bearing down on a defender and you could see that he didn't really know what to do and ended up poking it vaguely forward and falling over. Up front he's a shadow of his former self.

The midfield looks far more fluent without Henderson; no momentum-killing insta-backpasses when the break is on. We need another goal, though.

Mane in the centre is were he needs to more often than not from now he was getting too predictable playing in from the left

Thiago looking much better today as the game has progressed , taking risks and trying to make things happen

Back line looking solid and Salah our best player predictably

We've played really well, it's vexing to see how difficult we sometimes find it to score though. This should have been a 3-0 easily. I really really hope Elliott gets some goals in too.

Elliott is incredible for his age and experience He looks like he has goals in him and I don't think we will be waiting long for him to start chipping in
