Whole defence was great.

Becker made a few brilliant stops. Konate looks solid, decent with the ball at his feet. TGL continued his early season good form, and Milner a better back up to Trent than Neco. VVD was his usual self.

Tsimikas was very good. Especially going forward but also in defence. A great backup for Robbo.

Konante looked more assured as the game went on. Looks strong in defence and comfortable on the ball. I'm glad he played with VvD. He needs more game time (ideally in the cups).

Great game but a bit too open for me, need to get back some form of control sooner rather than later. We’re great though, the amount of chances we’re creating game after game is unreal, like our crushing machine mode has been put back.

What happened to Thiago? Seemed to be limping off quite heavily?

Calf injury. He's has loads of issues and was being managed til now.

Palace were better organised than I expected.

Cracking win and thought Milner was excellent at RB today and unbelievably no card !

The Greek lad did well and seems an able deputy for Robbo.

Both were great.

With so many changes it was going to take some time for the team to settle. Once that was done Konate oozed class.

Many a club would snap our hands off for Tsimikas. Superb, especially offensively.

after about 3 games?? He's done well but Robertson has basically been the worlds best left back for three years. It will take a bit more than that to prove he's anywhere close to better
