I don't mind that team. Those players need games. It wouldn't surprise me to see more youngsters than that though.

Didn't Klopp mention recently that he would like to see us have more success in the domestic competitions?...if so, I would say that he will have to go strong against Norwich, a PL side who will, in no doubt, be at full strength against us.

Yep, doubt Mane plays either, he's been involved in every game so far plus internationals. Not sure Milner will be asked to go again so soon after his efforts yesterday. Think Neco is still injured?

Might see a couple of the kids starting, Conor Bradley at RB maybe?

Konate over Phillips for me. Better player, offers as much if not more physicality as Phillips but a lot more pace, skill and game experience. Plus he needs the time to settle into the team and league.

Gomez I would start to keep him getting match time and match sharp.

Phillips is back to being our fifth choice CB, so any free game time at CB that comes up should be going to whoever is deemed our 3rd and 4th choice CBs ahead of him. Keeping our 3rd and 4th choices somewhat match fit trumps Phillips getting minutes imo.

Plus given Gomez and Konate are both younger than Philips and far more likely to be the future for us at CB so that is another reason they should always be ahead in the pecking order for any game time that comes up.

I'd be happy with that, what's the deal with Williams, TAA was out and he wasn't on the bench at the weekend was he? Is he injured, if so I think Gomez might play RB and Phillips and Konate at CB, although I don't like Gomez playing there.

Bradley left out of u-23's squad too, so he could get a runout.

I hate seeing Gomez at right back. It’s bad for him and bad for us. Hopefully another youngster is given the opportunity.
