What a game in the end. We were miles off it in the first, but the second half more than made up for it.

The only disappointment was the amount of space we seemed to give them around the box.
    Glass half empty club

One can always pick fault with one's own team, but i wouldn't say we were sloppy, they scored two goals from quality play, they are one of the best teams in the world and we are playing with a makeshift rightback, **** can happen. We did pretty well second half but got nowhere near their goal apart from from moments of individual genius from Mo (again). We did as well as we could have been expected to in the circumstances imo. Those circumstances include playing with a hopeless Hendo and inexerpeinced Jones in MF. On paper, they had a better side, but we got a result, so hard to be critical of the result.

Strange I don't feel as bad about today's result as the Brentford draw

In the grand scheme of things 2-2 at home to City isn't a disaster considering the mistake of starting Milner at RB with no help for the first half and our poor midfield that City repeatedly strolled through especially for the second goal no pressure on De Bruyne whatsoever from Jones

Positives - Salah on another level (again), Mane is anything but finished, CB's Alisson and Robertson all decent

What a tussle between us. Game showed once again that we’re the two world class teams in this league when we’re both at it. We sat back a little bit first half admiring City and we were lucky to have got to half time at 0-0 but second half we matched them and at times we could have run away with it much like they could have run away with it first half.

It shows that even the slightest of mistakes gets paid we were both play each other. Slightly annoying that for City’s second equaliser we lose the ball sloppily and got counter attacked.

All in all I’d take a point. Still unbeaten.

Jones was marking two players, he couldn;t just sit on KDB. These things are a team failure but will always happen against world class oppoisition occasionally.

Dissapointing to let the lead slip twice but that midfield was a bit of a horror show to be honest so I suppose when the midfield is dreadful and defence ropey.. You'd take a point off City. Obviously a better point for them but we'll take it. 4 point from Chelsea and Liverpool away is a great haul from them.

Midfield was ok. Curtis Jones was timid and never imposed himself on the game. It’s these kind of games that he needs to grow himself into to elevate his game, which is capable of. Possession wise was pretty much even, which is good against City, so in my mind midfield did ok.

I'd have to watch a replay of it and I'm not claiming my memory is perfect but fairly sure Jones was nowhere near De Bruyne at the start of their attack and then once they got to our box when he had time to mark one of the two he again didn't get close to either

But whether Jones deserves blame or not he'll learn and grow from this especially with our manager, only 21 and still new to the side, he'll improve no doubt

Personally I thought our midfield was way off today. City cut us in there used long diagonals the whole game and it was so effective. Game too far for Jones, he's a kid so fair enough Hendo and Fab were chasing shadows for most of that game imo.

was at partly at fault for both goals imo. Game passed him by. Obviously Milly wasn't great for the goals either. Foden was fabulous today, gave us an awful time.

First half we were chasing shadows because we were not pressing enough and also we always tried to play too direct bypassing our midfield which never got into the game. By not having Trent in the team takes away 20 % or more of our attacking potential and also our ability to play from midfield.
                              Are we winning?

that's fair enough, he's a huge loss and Milner has done a great job at rb up until today. We'll take that point anyways.
