I thought it had to be a red card at first look, but I think that the replay showed him getting some of the ball as well as taking the player out, I suspect that might have been what made it a yellow rather than a red.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Hmmm yaaa I haven’t seen it back, but for me the fact he gave a yellow only convinced me more that it was a red, haha. Like he booked him for it being a deliberate foul? In which case it’s a red?
Anyway, the fact he stayed on the field prob gave us a better chance of getting more goals, haha. Also when they have city coming up, I don’t really want them having any suspensions.I don't tip

Isn't there something about making a 'genuine attempt to play the ball' or something similar? I have a vague recollection of something like that, but they piss around with the rules so much I genuinely don't know the rules anymoreOriginally posted by Mr Pink View PostHmmm yaaa I haven’t seen it back, but for me the fact he gave a yellow only convinced me more that it was a red, haha. Ahhh ya, you may be right. In any case, they could have had no complaints if he did walk- if he didn’t make the foul, it was surely number 6.
I wasn’t too fussed, but if it had been 0-0 at the time (however unlikely that may seem now, haha) I would have been ragingI don't tip

was a genuine question from me, I was in the pub watching it, so couldn’t hear the commentary and no one else in there seemed fussed that he didn’t walk. I haven’t seen it back in the highlights, so wasn’t sure whether I was just biased watching it and he wasn’t last man, but yaa, I was full sure it shoulda been a red.
