Inter can't get Juve (same country)
Inter can't get Real (same group)

If they'd have drawn Liverpool vs Villarreal... Inter couldn’t have played Juventus (same nation) or Real (already have played them in the group stage)

I thought they had screwed up but if we got Villarael then Juve could not be drawn away to Inter because of same country rule and Real Madris were in the same group as Inter so we had to get them

they need to take the complication out of the draw & in last 16 so anyone can draw anyone or at the very least take away the fact you cannot face a team from your group stage

They can retain the same restrictions as now. Drawn the 8 home teams then draw the away teams and put them in the first available tie. Its so astonishingly simple.
