For me, that is the best Keita has played in a LFC shirt. Receiving the ball, instant control and immediately driving forward, he look quicker on the ball than any game i've seen him play with us & that is exactly the player we bought. I thought he was absolutely brilliant.

Tuned it for second half, so can't believe how we weren't winning that tbh, Keita was fantastic, just in time for the AFCON. Loathe that tournament tbh.
          * The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

The HT subs made a huge difference.

Sorry, should have said,"couldn't" Yeah, I read that. Guess we need to run Keita to ground now before he's off!

First half was ropey but it was understandable because of the personnel, but England international Joe Gomez was atrocious. I think he’s firmly in fourth position in the CB pecking order now with pressure from below.

I can see him getting itchy feet soon, ALthough that might put him out of action for 6 months.

Gomez is notoriously **** when he returns from injury. After a few games he becomes undroppable. Only this time he will have competition from Konate which he's never had.

Problem is as soon as he's world class again he's two games away from being injured for the season. Much like Keita. IF he stays injury free then I can see him and VvD becoming the preferred fixed pairing again.

Also Gomez had Kounetio next to him first half and probably isn’t experienced enough to be organising another player. Even from the highlights the CB positioning looked awful first half.

Just watched the game, loved the fact Jota stood on the spot & made the ref go and get the ball for his spot kick; he wasn't going to get involved with the knob'ed keepers mind games at all.

                            Agree.
He didnt just pass the ball but moved and made himself available for the return, quick 1-2s, pushing forward, now almost the player we wanted to sign.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.
