Newcastle are years away from winning anything, but I agree with the rest. Utd will be better next season, Arsenal too.

Don’t think they’ll compete for the title for a few years yet but they’ll spend some heavyweight cash next year, starting with some PL legends coming to the end of their career… Trippier, Coutinho, etc.. City first went for Robinho before signing some proper talent.

Klopp needs some cash to spend… it’s been promised but after Ali and Virgil, not much has been forthcoming.

We haven’t gifted anything though. City were a bit less disrupted by covid while teams they faced were decimated and basically gave them some easy points. I’m talking about the period when they were winning 6-0 and 8-0.

In any case, I don’t think we’ll be throwing the towel just yet. It does look difficult yes, but all we need to worry about is to get some wins under our belt and then we’ll see where we’re at.

Fab been dreadful in fairness. Second best to everything.

Fab and VVD both look very leggy after covid. Both a touch off, but in these games it shows. VVD is hitting so many **** passes, when he's usually nailing them.

Hendo has regressed massively. He's been absolutely awful.

Mane...i dont need to keep harping on about how ****e he is, but jammy goal aside this game didnt shine him in any more positive light. Crap.

Milner - he's done at this level now and has been for a while. The ultimate pro, and a great clubman. But he's done. He was getting rings run around him all game and was second to the ball pretty much everytime.

We really need Thiago, Jones and Elliot to get back into that midfield and give it some spark. A 3 of Fab, Hendo and Milly is horrific on the eyes.

I fear we're in for a post xmas dumpster fire like last season. Everything's going against us, covids ****ed everything again, players that have had it suddenly look ****e and our best player is now off to play in a two bit competition. Guaranteed to come back with covid too. Why after all these years can the africans not get their **** together and play this stupid tournament when every other continent play theirs...not during the ****ing season. Im surprised clubs still allow it. It's absolutely ridiculous.

FSG need to dip their hands into their pockets for a change. Ive had enough of their "so and so signs a new contract" spun likes its a new signing. Spend some fcukign money you pricks. Theyve been making bank year on year and its time to start giving the squad a refresh. They had a good run of having a net spend of almost zero for 4 seasons ffs. This summer needs to be a big one.

It lacks creativity but having gone 2-0 up you would have thought with that midfield we would have been able to see the game out. That seems to be something we are incapable of at the moment.

But then I realised this as well - I thought Milner started well but after 20 mins he was blowing hard. Hendo has been really poor for the past games and is really struggling for form. His game was never about tracking runners - he was always best running forward and causing opposing teams problems. He was chasing back once and he was miles off it. Fab was really sloppy in possession also...... they all just looked hurried
