Lacks dynamism for me to be top top class, needs to add some strength and muscle too. He gets pushed off the ball so easily. Will do a job, but wouldnt be surprised to see him loaned out and sold for big profit. This is the way of FSG

doesn't not remind me of a young, scrawny steven gerrard. he does have some growing to do.

Dont see a young Gerrard in him at all. Young Gerrard you could immediately tell was class, he had an absolute cannon of a shot on him, made lung bursting runs forward, and would go flying into tackles with reckless abandon and even though he was skinny, he was tough and wouldnt let people push him off the ball.

Morton looks like a kid out there at times. He's got talent no doubt, he's played a few great passes. But he's got miles of development to go before i'd even mention him in the same sentence as Gerrard.

Elliott is a much better prospect, one of the most annoying things from this season was him getting his leg broken. He had made that midfield spot his own.

agree that elliot is much further along, and he does look like a kid at times. if he fills out there's a player in there, tho. what we've seen from him so far has been in the #6 position but he's actually an 8. i think he's meant to be a much more dynamic player than he's shown for the senior side so far.

He's made two PL appearances for us at the age of 19 and he's being essentially written off

i think he looks brilliant. He struggled in the Spurs game but had Milner and Keita alongside him - neither of whom played brilliant themselves.

Stick him alongside Fabinho and Thiago and it will be interesting to see how he gets on.

                        Big prospect for sure though.

To be fair he did not look like a better version of a prime Fernando Hierro straight away so best bin him off.
