Yeah. Think it was Venton - and I hasten to add I'm not trying to instigate a pile on, not least cos he's a good guy - who said his cat defends better than Trent. Just don't understand that at all. His job is to pile forward and take risks, just like our high line. He defends just fine for me. Love the lad.

Usually I would agree with Venton, though I've only caught a couple of his cat's games this season. I just noticed more focus and determination in Trent's defensive side today. One moment pops into my head where he was isolated into marking two players, and as the ball came into that area through the air he just managed to keep his concentration on getting his head to it. Had he flinched and let the ball drop we could have been in a lot of trouble.

I don’t think it was much better. We had 55% possession. Created more chances had more shots on goal.

Kovacic is good though.

A lot of their good play was off side being played on which is something VVD was talking about. The extra miles and the potential for getting injured in a play that was clearly offside.

The only tight one was Lukakus goal.

Every statistic favours us.

Also, that Robbo discussion was a bit of odd considering 3 of his last 5 assists have been corners and all this calendar year too. I'd be surprised if any other player has a better record.

Oh the relief when both Konate & Elliot scored their penalties. I’d hate for a youngster like that to lose a final for us. The tension release was palpable

I wonder what it's like if you're the 9th or 10th player to step up, chances are you don't really fancy it much and when the boss says you'll be taking no 9/10 you're probably thinking it will all be over by then, but as it gets to 7 or 8 pens standing on the half way line you must start bricking it... Fair play to those guys at the bottom of the list

Both Robbo & Konate were the one's that i bricked it on, was weirdly confident with Elliott & the Keeper scoring though.

Was not expecting penalty specialist Kepa to hit in to to top tier
