    38 1v1s?

Our high line would probably got to **** with a different keeper
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Thats what I took out of this - he has faced 15 more 1-1s than Ederson, for example. If this analysis is sound, that is surely going to cost us at some point?

I just can't remember him facing that many 1-1s,?

Yeah, cos Karius's calamity performance against Madrid never gets a mention these days

Or Man City - UAE are quite tight with Russia. They're all a ****ing pox on our game.

Thanks for that. And there was me, thinking the idea sounds like horse****.

I thought the newly emerged fetish of expected goals was annoying but now we have expected saves too?

38 1v1s sounds like bull****. Are they included ones that were offside?

As he saved them, yes. Only if they had gone in would it have gone to VAR and been over-ruled. There's been a few that were offside and not given by the officials, but as they don't lead to goals, play continues.

The point was not even in our high line or how many 1on1's we concede, but just how exceptional Alisson is at saving them. He is one of those players that definitely make a difference between losing and winning, with Kelleher I am not so sure. We'll see.

still dont understand the kelleher thing I get its a nice gesture but if that`s the case what about origi taki etc we are definitely weaker for it
Oh I say his vision there was lovely

You say that like Taki and Origi aren’t starting too.

It’s as Klopp said, if you want to keep a No.2 as good as Kelleher around then you have to give him games like this.

Let him have League Cup Finals, Euro Super Cups, Community Shields, etc. It’s a worthwhile compromise if it means we don’t have to fall back to someone like Adrian in a Champions League 1/4 Final again.

Alisson quite injury prone for a keeper, so we need to do what we can to keep our no. 2 happy if he's decent.

He's also a big reason we're in the final with his penalty saves, so I'm delighted he's starting.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
