    Sticking the boot in.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

We're in the cup final on Sunday and they go 1 game ahead of us again. Possibly, they might be 6 points ahead again until Mid March, unless Everton and United gives us a few favours. Then we have a few tough games ourselves (Arsenal away, United at home).

But in my mind, we're the better team, so I'm confident we'll win it.

There is a long way to go. And City will bounce back. But the race is on.

With Salah and Mane heading to the Afcon I think we were like 14 points behind them? They must have thought they had one hand on the trophy.

Yep, plus the covid situation didn't help. But looking at it, we've slipped only once (lost vs Leicester) during a period when we had to change the team somewhat. Lost a few points at the start of the season drawing too many games, but ultimately it's not been decisive as City have lost points as well.

I think we need to go on another mega wins run, another 15 or 16 run (we are what 6 or 7 in now?) to win it. Could be a nervy one after the procession in 2019. How many round here have got the stones for that ?

This is where we have wanted to be for decades. I intend to enjoy every minute of it.

Yeah me too, I'm enjoying it and am certainly enjoying our football this season.

Not too many will have the stomach for the run in for sure. Might be a few fist fights in the match threads before the end of the season.

When it gets tight and tense I get as nervous as the next fan, but. Thats what winners have to deal with

You get the sense that everyone in the club is so totally focussed on the mission. It is really impressive to watch. Our job is to cheer them on and hope and pray that they can deliver.

It could be one hell of a season.

I reckon something has to give in our ambitions with the volume of games, most likely the FA Cup. But who knows. I susoect we will also have a set back at some point in the League (like a draw ) but I think City will also.

                        14 eh?

                        Alonso's number.

Glass half full? yay more whiskey

Seems to me that the stars have aligned at we have all the solid proof we need that we will win the title.

I may have to change my prediction from the start of the season that we would win one of the CL or League this season and next season to us winning both this season

Anyone seen our next 12 games versus city's? We've got a brutal run. Not so their ones.

Neither of us play Chelsea and they have home advantage in our H2H. Anything else I expect us to win.

When they slip up it tends to be against a team they are expected to beat rather than what looks a tough game on paper.

                                Just checked in detail.

We both play Manchester United at home then we both play but at different venues (our venue in brackets)

                                Everton (H)
                                Brighton (A)
                                Wet Ham (H)
                                Wolves (H)
                                Newcastle (A)
                                Villa (A)
                                Watford (H)

Then they uniquely have Leeds Burnley and Palace away and we have Arsenal and Southampton away and Spurs at home

*None of these are in chronological order.
