    Arturo Vidal (34)
    Ivan Perisic (33)
    Alexis Sanchez (33)
    Matteo Darmian (32) (more of a has-never-been)

Three of them have aged very well though.

Handanovic is proving to be one of those keepers that keeps his reflexes longer than most and his positioning has certainly gotten better with age (hopefully a fumble show from him after me saying that

Dzeko and Persic are doing pretty well this season with the former being an almost 1 in 2 striker in Seria A this season and being a 1 in 2 striker in the group stages

Big side as well that loves a set piece. Lots of six footers in it that like to get stuck in and Martinez at 5'9 is as good in the air as the bigger guys.

Yep they're not all ready for the scrapheap yet, I get that. Dzeko has given us problems before and I know Perisic is a danger too.

They have Martinez and a few other younger talents too but my point was really they are the exact stereotype you expect of an ageing Italian squad

We should, SHOULD, be able to get past them fairly easily.

I would've thought that, if everyone remains available, there are really four calls to make:

1 Matip or Konate. I think Klopp regards these players as almost inter-changeable now. Ibu has got the nod recently for the Champions League, si I think he'll get the nod here too.

2 Henderson or Keita. I think he'll go with Henderson because, though not as good as Keita at his best, Henderson is a more consistent performer than Keita and we cannot afford one of those "oh god Naby-lad" performances.

3 Jota or Firmino. I suspect Bobby's's strength is his on-field relationship with Sadio and Mo and I think Luis will be picked, so that points for me towards Diogo.

4 Mane or Diaz. As people have said, Luis is already attuned to the Champions League. And I agree that Sadio starting on Sunday indicates that for this game it is probably Luis.

Ronaldo was s sprightly young goal scoring thing in serie A, before Utd bought him. Now they want rid of that slow pensioner. Really does sum up the Italian league.

I agree. If we are on form then the tie should not be all that close.

The issue this season has been "Oh God, Hendo-lad" performances. Including the game just gone.

Keita has been consistently good. Even Ox is now having a better season than Henderson.

              Agree on the others.

Henderson doesn't get in our strongest XI at the minute for me, and I've been a fan of him over the years. Miles off it this season. Elliott and Naby both ahead of him for me, but I wouldn't be surprised at all if Klopp went for his experience tomorrow.

Yeah, it's not even just the form. He's had 2 separate fitness issues in the past week as well.

We've still loads of experience all over he pitch without Henderson, so I hope Klopp won't 'risk' him based on that.

Not sure Harvey will start this. Keita or Henderson more likely IMO

Would go with that front 3 mind
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

Because of fitness or because of experience?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
