Is Jota not quite injured? How about the rest, Curtis has not been in the squad for 3 games now.

Incredible goals today, I think this is a beginning of a Luis Diaz era.

Jota and Bobby got knocks, still count as a rest. Curtis, I don't know. Maybe he's crap as what the others say, so is not in. I'd boot Naby and Ox out of the squad next , play Thiago all the games until he's blue in the face, and have Millie as backup.
        Are we winning?

Gomez does not work at RB, we've seen it several times,it throws the balance off as he offers nothing going forward. There are better players ahead of him at CB unfortunately and I think he ll be sold in the summer as he seems want regular game time which he won't get at LFC at CB or RB as he's not good enough.

Keita wasn't moving the ball quick enough and got whipped. Thiago is a different level and is perfect for moving the ball quickly vs low block sides. Everything clicked when he came on and and we started to carve them open. The two players that got hooked, deserved to be hooked. It is ok to say they didn't play well, subs worked happy days and great 3 points.

Does VAR even look at it, if it's handball it's outside the area, so a free kick, and VAR isn't used for free kicks. I guess the only thing it would check is the denial of a goal scoring chance?

Gomez did a job at right back. It's unfair to compare him to Trent, what's the point? He needed a game, so it was achieved by using the squad, whole point. And the fact he was no longer needed to offer an outlet forward when we changed formations, maybe Klopp had it wrong from the beginning?

It's not as straight forward as this or that player not playing well. Ox for sure had an ineffective game and nothing was coming for him today, but the rest, it looked we were a bit lop sided in the way we played, Diaz and Sadio making the same runs and getting into each other etc. The change of formation changed all of that. Great 3 points for sure and that's important.

I'm not comparing him to Trent, what I am saying is we play with attacking fullbacks as our main source of production. Gomez is not a RB in our setup, nor does he has the attributes to excel at RB and unfortunately for him he is not good enough to gain a regular starting position at CB either. It's not his fault, it's just the way it is.

I think we have similar opinions about other personnel and I do agree that the change in formation helped too as well as personnel

Spurs trying to kill us with hope now. They are a goal up on City

Game of the day currently on Sky. Entertaining so far. That run from Mo was incredible.

Love how people pick on Keita all the time and completely let Ox off. Keita wasn't even that bad ffs.

Ox put in a horror show performance. Crosses were shocking, passing was awful, running into dead ends constantly, weak as **** in tackles, getting in the way of others. He's a waste of a shirt in that midfield.

Ox is and always was a bang average player, we just built him up to be something he is not. Keita imo has been an underwhelming signing but he does have some talent, just struggles to show it in the Premier league as its so quick and physical.
