Would be glorious if they announced a Salah extension around now- give the fans a massive boost and in turn give the team a momentum boost… then after we extend our winning run to beyond the city game, announce a Klopp extension, would give us the boost to go on and complete the quadruple!I don't tip

Doesn’t make much sense. He’s only got 2 more seasons anyway and there’s absolutely no suggestion that he might want to finish next summer. He’s here until 2024.Originally posted by Fredo View PostI mean, "I think" he'll renew his contract for a yearly running one before his contract ends in 2024. Allows him not to commit long term and get out of it at short notice if he thinks he's had had enough..

I didn't say he wanted to finish next summer.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostDoesn’t make much sense. He’s only got 2 more seasons anyway and there’s absolutely no suggestion that he might want to finish next summer. He’s here until 2024.
I think, in his last year (ie 2024), he will sign for another year (ie 2024/25) and have possibly a rolling contract from now on, to allow him to get out whenever he feels he's had enough beyond 2024.
Still confused at what I'm saying? Are we winning?

You said renew his current contract for a yearly one before the current ends!
As in replace his existing one with a rolling one.
I see what you mean now..

On the bright side, 1 is illness, 2 are doubtful, 1 is expected back in training on Sunday and the other should be back after Milan.Originally posted by BigChief View PostBloody hell, just as I thought we would rule the galaxies - injuries. Arghhh!
One key CB, one key and two important midfielders, one important striker.
So should have them all back by next weekend and maybe a few of them by midweek. If we can just manage to not get any more injuries in the meantime..

For us that translates to 1 being on a life support machine, 2 have been entered into the Paralympics and 1 expected to regain consciousness by Sunday.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostOn the bright side, 1 is illness, 2 are doubtful, 1 is expected back in training on Sunday and the other should be back after Milan.

Matip is only ill so hopefully can still play against Inter, so Ibou can play with VVD against West Ham, I'm leaning towards Ibou anyway. Keita is a bit of a blow but Fabinho - Henderson and one of Jones or Elliot should do it as long as we have our three of our four best upfront. Really, I'm just hoping Diaz starts, he is so fun to watch, everything can just follow.* The above is posted in my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

Jones is one of the doubtful ones that's why he was withdrawn at half time. I feel Elliot needs a mini break from the spotlight as he's beginning to feel the mental effects of performing to a high level every game. He's too young to break.Originally posted by The_weatherman View PostMatip is only ill so hopefully can still play against Inter, so Ibou can play with VVD against West Ham, I'm leaning towards Ibou anyway. But totally agree about Diaz. He's number 1 in my attackers choice for now, more than even Salah.
Defenders haven't quite worked him out yet and he hardly ever loses the ball. His surprise factor can open up chances for the other two.
One tit for another.
