Proper cup tie. Hostile atmosphere and an opponent with nothing to lose going for it.

We should have been out of sight by HT and missing those chances gave them hope. City at Wembley in the semi. Massive 2 months of footy about to happen.

Job done. Didn’t see it so can’t comment but it doesn’t sound like I missed anything

If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

So City it is. I guess we'd have to face them at some point!

Can anyone see Palace getting to the final?

Imagine if we faced Chelsea in three cup finals!

              Stuff of dreams.

And Pep fecks off so Klopp defends the PL title next season. Karma owes us.

I thought that was a really tough game and did well to battle through without any major issue. Not an easy game for players like Eliot, Ox, Gomez and Tsimikas to come into after not playing for months.

Kudos to Tmiskas .. the lad always pops up with an assist

Gomez was excellent tonight, bit of a forgotten hero since his injury. For me a really class defender.

I thought he was good also.

Hopeless as an attacking presence, but did well defensively.

Not quite at Trents levels for sure, but I actually thought he got up and down the right quite well. It was a solid outing, he made one mistake when we were under pressure near the end but was good other than that.

He was okay today, but I don’t really see the class tbh. He’s had a couple of decent runs in the side but he’s just too error prone for my liking. Being in and out of the team obviously doesn’t help, but I think it’s more than that. He’s part of the pre VVD days when we’d gift teams silly goals regularly and still makes me a bit nervous. But I guess you can’t ask for too much from a 4th choice cb.

You mean the pre-VVD days when he was an integral part of a record setting Premier League champions team?
