    Think we'll see Henderson play the Fab role in midfield with Naby and possibly Ox starting beside him. Then all being well we'll see Fab, Thiago and Naby start on Saturday.

    Konate and Gomez will come in at the back.

    Mo to start with an eye to dropping him against Citeh on Sat.

    I havent a clue tbf. But it felt like I was leaving you pretty thin gruel if I didnt at least begin the thread with a predicted team. We have so many options these days

      I agree with most of this, except I think:

      1 it will be Jones rather than the Ox;
      2 I think we need all our forwards reasonably fresh for Saturday so Pep can't guess the forward line. That means we need to ease back a bit on Mo and Sadio against Benefica. I'd start with Luis, Bobby and one other - probably Sadio - and look to bring Sadio off very early and the other two well before the end.

      Incidentally, I thought Bobby would play on Sunday (in place of Diogo) because it would help counter the Man City midfield. Jurgen knows more than me, but watching the game I still thought Bobby wouldve helped change the balance of the game to our advantage (and might have been where Diogo was for the first goal).

        I'd forgotten all about Curtis in Midfield

        I think we'll see Diaz start against Citeh so may well be on the bench again tomorrow

            Think Bobby missed some training so wasn't quite ready. A 60 minute run out against Benfica I think, then back in the starting 11 for Wembley.

              We shouldn't go to weak (lots of changes) for this game. We need a good reaction following the game against City. After the immediate relief of not losing, it would have dawned on the players that we were outplayed by a far superior team (on the day). I'm glad the Benfica game is at home. The crowd will help. Need a positive (confidence boosting) result.
              Another MASSIVE game

                Salah, Diaz and Firmino for this one please.

                Then give Mo a rest once we've got it in the bag.

                Midfield will be Keita, Hendo and Jones i reckon

                    Using my reverse auto correct app, I’m going with:

                    Konate for Matip

                              Wouldn't play him anyways but ffs hope he's not injured.

                                Had a bad feeling when he had that nasty clash of shins with De Bruyne late on. Caused by Rodri pushing him.
