He is a disaster. They just gave him the captaincy because of the price tag. And that’s without any comment on his performance which is a story in itself.

We were bold in possession and kept our calm and passed it around tonight and it paid in the end. We were never as sloppy as second half vs City (arguably United doesn’t have the quality in the press that City have). Still, at times in games we relax too much and there’s a period of play that teams have the ascendency, but we go through gears and dispatch teams when needed.

This is truly one of the greatest Liverpool sides and playing at their peak level. Time is for trophies to roll now, hopefully they do.
