    Liverpool v Everton (H) PL

Most likely we will be 4 points behind as Watford typically drop trow for City.

As big a gap as we will get between now and the end of the season. Then a CL Semi first leg on Weds.

    Alisson

    Gomez
    Konate
    VVD
    Robbo

    Hendo
    Keita
    Thiago

    Mane
    Jota
    Salah

    Anyones guess really.

Man City have won their last 14 games against Watford, that one is a forgone conclusion. I think our game is too to be honest; derby or not, Everton are ****e.

I fear injuries in this one more than them.

Richarlicunt always wound up easily in this game. If we come out like against the Mancs they will no doubt start scything players down trying to damage our chance of a title/CL/FA Cup

I think the best we can hope for is their away game against Leeds after they play Real Madrid.

Leeds run a **** load and seem to have tightened up a little since bucket man left.

I'm also hoping Real Madrid can land a solid blow on City and dent their confidence..

Everton normally have nothing to play for, when playing against us, apart from stopping us achieving our goals…

But now that they’re fighting for survival a stupid red card could be the difference between them staying up or going down… hoping they’ll be a bit smarter than previous years and not try to injure anyone… having said that, it wouldn’t surprise me if they do injure someone, the bitter cunts…

They have more red cards than any other team in the league and most of them came in what seemed like consecutive games a few weeks back. So I am not sure they are too concerned about poor discipline affecting their chances of survival.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I agree, when their whole intention is injuring our players to stop us winning trophies I want them gone. Small time club with small time views.

I'll expect Thiago to be hacked at.

'I am not a Tory', insists Lampard

Everton boss Frank Lampard believes his side must use the fact they are facing one of the best teams as a positive when they face Liverpool - and has insisted he is at home in the predominantly socialist city.

The 240th Merseyside derby will take place on Sunday and sees two teams at different ends of the table face off.

Jurgen Klopp’s side have won 11 out of their last 12 in the Premier league and are just a point behind Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.

Everton, on the other hand, are just a point above Burnley in the relegation fight, and could be in the bottom three by the time Sunday’s game kicks off.

The game will be Lampard’s first Merseyside derby in charge of the Toffees and the ex-Chelsea boss has urged his side to use the fact that they are playing one of the most in-form teams as a positive.

“It’s a huge fixture. I have watched it from afar many times. I am very happy to be involved.

“We’re playing the strongest team, on form teams, in the league. You have to use that as a positive. We have to fight until the last minute, no matter what happens. We are the underdogs, that’s clear. But we have to fight!

Lampard has been christened 'Frankie De Tory' by sections of Liverpool supporters on social media, but the former Derby boss insists he is at home in the city and assumptions about his political persuasions are wide of the mark.

"I am not a Tory. I'm just a normal member of the electorate, a normal voter. I am not a Tory. I have voted Tory all of my life and I agree with their policies, their take on issues in society, but I am not a Tory."

The former Derby boss was pressed on previous quotes declaring his political allegiances, and admiration for David Cameron - and whether that was uncomfortable for him in a city where the Conservatives are deeply unpopular.

"As I said, I am not a Tory. All I have done is vote for them all my life, and yes I am a big admirer of Mr Cameron and it's fair to say I'm not a fan of Corbyn and his ilk. Seriously though, I am not a Tory."

Everton have seen a number of red cards since Lampard took charge, and his has urged his players to remain on the right side of the law at Anfield.

“We expect players to be physical, but on the right side of the law. I hope the referee sees that. At Goodison, we have had yellow cards become red cards. Maybe at Anfield it doesn’t go that way.”

Lampard also offered his sympathy for striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin who has suffered yet another injury.

“No one is a machine, this is a tough industry. There is an element of bad luck. Dominic has had a bad run.”
