Suppose we're going to have the same tiresome bull**** over the Milner tackle as we did with Gordon's diving last week?

Where a correct and uncontroversial decision gets scrutinised and painted as a massive left off for Liverpool.

It is a beautiful thing seeing former United pundits like Rio and Gary Neville fawning over us

I would not even want to play against us on Fifa given we have Jota and TAA in the squad.

100% agree. He’s got good pace when his man gets in behind him too. A solid 7.5 rating for him today I’d say.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Think all the stand in players/older players did their bit and then some today. Not one of them was anything other than very good.

Only thing that went against us today was our finishing was a bit off but we still got the goal that mattered so no complaints.

The midfield was great. Naby the standout

Milner ahead of Ox. Not even on the bench. Looks like he's going.
                  Another MASSIVE game

Well that felt a bit tense but only because the lead wasn’t more than 1. In all honesty, they barely threatened us and we kept them at arm’s length. We should’ve taken one of our several chances and made it safe by grabbing a second but overall, that was a very controlling and dominant performance. It feels like we’re being able to conserve energy but without handing over control of games. What a incredible team we have.

                      Really, in what way?

Under the circumstances, it was a great result. Probably won't make the DVD highlight reel, but if we do manage to usurp City, this result and performance will be pivotal.

Absolutely. Every single one of them were excellent.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Not too sure what game you were matching dude. They had only 1 shot by Guimaraes that Ali saved comfortably in the second half, that's all they had. Offsides were offsides which equates to zero chance.

I think that’s his point? These are often thrown up as an example of our ‘high line’ not working. Because people (pundits) recall the chance but forget that due to the late flag it was all from an offside position.

I thought he was excellent. I also thought we played v well with a heavily rotated side - they’ve won 4 on the bounce and the most points (outside of us ) since the start of the year and we kept them at arms length v easily

Hendo, Gomez, Milner, Naby - all maligned at different times if the season slotted in excellently. V exciting to see how easily we managed that - our squad are all fresh and playing to a high level

No worries Fredo. Just a recent pet peeve of mine (as it happens from what I saw of the post match analysis they didn't mention it this time ).
