I think we might see Tsimikas at LB, with Robbo rested to be fresh for the Spurs game. Also wouldn't be shocked to see Gomez keep RB for this one, keep Trent ready if needed, or if we are safe he is good to go for Spurs as well.

Nah I think Trent is playing, Klopp is all about maintaining rhythm and missing 2 games would disrupt this IMO. Tsimikas coming in at LB definitely makes sense.

It's not about jeopordising tho, it's about fitness levels and who needs a midweek rest, so I think certain players could quite easily be rested, given Klopp seems to have faith in the majority of the squad to do the job when called upon.

Thiago and Fab are well rested, but I wonder whether Jones will get the call ahead of Hendo so that the whole of Saturday's midfield get a rest.

Think it would be a big mistake. We should smash these lads, but if they were to score first, they would have all the momentum, and the crowd would get really fired up.

Think Jones has a lot of potential, but atm, he’s at a level where he should be playing our early cup games, against lower league opposition, and maybe a few appearances from the bench..
