Liverpool vs Spurs - Saturday Night(mare) bonanza

It's going to have a European night atmosphere this one, especially after tonight. They're in for it

Every game is **** scary now - I don't know how the players do it. They must have incredibly dense balls to hold it all together!
    Was muß, das muß.

Yep, the City collapse and how it unfolded is the best outcome we could have hoped for (perhaps apart from losing on penalties)

Hopefully 1) we win against Spurs and 2) there's no early goal against Newcastle and the tension builds for City - that would be interesting

The way they lost last night is infinitely more damaging/soul destroying than losing on pelanties

Yep, defining week end I think. If we beat Spurs that will spur us even more (no pun intended) and City can drop points vs Newcastle on Sunday.
          Are we winning?

I still don't think City will drop points but 120 mins in their legs and the dagger through their heart certainly makes it more possible.

Just got to do our job on Saturday. Ibou should play imo to counter their pace up front and on the break.

This weekend is the key one for the PL title race now IMO, arguably our toughest remaining game coming off the back of a difficult European away. How City react to going out of the CL will be crucial, if their heads are still in Madrid there is a chance they drop points, if the regain their focus they could batter Newcastle and stroll towards the title
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

yeah think they will still win as they've **** all else to play for but certainly a game like that must zap the life out of you physically and mentally. They must be absolutely devastated

                  It's a big one.

Unfortunately they are in a real battle for 4th spot.

This might be their CL Final against us. We’ll need to be right on our game for this one.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Son is playing great at the moment too - so we're going to need to be on it.

He always seems to play 6 well against us. They certainly are improved but we should be beating them. Their real game is vs Arsenal in the next one, that's their Final. Son and Kane are the danger men, that ball over the top behind Trent and in between Trent and Matip is an area that counter attacking sides with pace seem to target. Imo Spurs will do exactly that.

Leicester came at the right time for them. 2 games with no shots on target, then up roll a reserve Leicester team who have no interest in playing football at the minute.

Would be a bit concerned if at WHL, but Anfield should be rocking for this
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?
