        People are upset that City can knock 4 or 5 past teams we can only get 1 or 2 past - not sure that will change next season with Haaland in the team.

          The team dug deep.

          Every player had good and bad moments to the game in a pressured environment. But nobody ever comments on anything good. We weren’t that ****. We weren’t **** at all. Football is a ****ing battle sometimes. Like tonight. There is merit in digging deep, it’s not FIFA where players have pre set moves.

          It’s also OK that I disagree, right?

            this is the flip side, not allowed to call a spade a spade. We are clearly a brilliant side, we all know this but we weren't great tonight, alot of players were very poor and it should be ok to say that.

              I agree, and to an extent it is what it is. Whilst they can load there squad with £100m forwards and £50m full backs.

              If it weren’t for us we would be watching the Bindesliga and City winning ten titles easily. The financial doping seems less obvious because we run them close.

              People would be giving up watching if they had already won this by April.

              Just have to hope Haaland gets injured pre season!

                It should also be ok to disagree. The match thread is just a constant stream of comments on how **** players are performing.

                I suspect I will soon join many esteemed colleagues in swerving the match threads. They are a total buzz kill.

                            The difference in GD isn't that big it's 3 at the moment if City lose (by 1) it's down to 2. The issue for me is we aren't winning by more than a couple of goals, in 28 games in all competitions in 2022 we have only won by more than 2 goals 4 times (Shrewsbury in FA Cup, Man Utd, Leeds and Brentford in the PL) Whereas City seem to be beating sides by 4 or 5 at the moment (They have won their last 3 by at least 4). It feels like the GD gap is more likely to widen than narrow.
                            The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                              But honestly if you were reading match threads (and it's literally every thread) you'd think we were fighting to stay in the league

                              It's crazy. We're in May and we're competing for 4 trophies but every single match thread is a constant stream of how **** individual players are

                                City really have steam rolled teams recently. Mo being off his best hasn't helped us. Jota hasn't been as clinical either but yeah we aren't smashing sides like City have been doing recently. Well apart from United lol
