A very subjective question.

Robbie has scored some amazing goals making him my favourite player ever (subjective) and then there’s Kenny, Mo, Rushie, Sir Roger, Stevie G and Davie but for me the best goal ever was Chris Lawler’s goal in the great 3-2 comeback over Everton 1970, my first derby on the Kop 2-0 down then late on Highway, Tosh and Chrissy made it the greatest game ever for me.

So many great goals so many memories here’s to the next one.

Hmmm all great and massive goals for us, but I thought some of the others would be higher up- thought the olympiacos goal woulda been top 5, but that might be recency bias on my part (nearly 20 years ago, haha)

Hope origis against Barcelona is number 1. Not the most glamorous goal, but such a genius moment from Trent, a great finish, and the magnitude of the goal, think it should be number 1.

I know it shouldn't be but the Salah goal against Utd should be higher as it will always stick in my mind as the goal that won us the league. It sounds stupid but once that went in to me everything after was preordained.

Ya when I think back on that season, winning the league, that’s the goal that sticks out in my mind. After that, we all knew it was in the bag (until covid came along).

The sight of the crowd singing “we’re gonna win the league” for the first time, on the back of it, still gives me goosebumps
