Klopp also deserves abuse - I know his hands were tied but he left it too long. We are a great bunch on this forum but done if ye are deluded if you don’t think we need BETTER and AVAILABLE midfielders. **** this right one bull**** - you can’t tell me we can get better than Ox, Naby, Milner, Hendo, Jones or more available than Thiago

We are in a bit of a crisis now

Least we won't loose the title by a point this season

As I said I’m at the burn it all down mood - Klopp never deserved abuse. One for the oppo fans forum thread on blue moon and red cafe

A genuine lack of pace and mobility in the midfield, under performing star players and a stale squad of crocks or players who aren't at the level we require.

Yes, that was Fergie Scum greatest skill. Shaking up his teams every three years.

But we're getting out muscled and don't have an answer.

The team has gotten old but we haven’t done enough about it. The midfield needs a total rebuild but we havent done anything about it.

Our midfield doesnt win second balls and can’t stop counter attacks since Gini left. That’s why we wanted Tchouameni but surely there must be someone else who can provide some of that.

We were class about 3 years ago...... We are now at the stage where we have the likes of Oxlade, Keita, Henderson all doing what lallana did and effectively sitting in the squad. Not justifying their place and just draining wages.

                    I'd take a ward-prowse at this stage

What do we do in training! 3 games in and failing to score first! We’ll have a lot of possession and teams will let us have the ball because they’ll just defend and hit us on the break! Zaha scored by having lots of space in front of him to run into, Rashford scored as he had lots of space in front of him to run into whereas we look like we’re trying to pass the ball into the goal!

Deffo need another MF who can pick a pass and score from distance.

The 63 games last season looks like it’s taken a lot out of this team.

A pile up of injuries already and most of those still standing look like they’re playing on fumes.

Should have started years ago. Been saying it even when we won the League.

"Hendo" got a bumper rise, and extension, so he won't be going anywhere just yet. He'll be 'taking control' and 'imposing his personality' while being 'great around the place' for a long time to come. And we should all be ****ing grateful for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the way teams play vs us and are successful. Let us have aimless posession, build up is so slow teams get into their blocks, let us push the ball wide to either Robbo or Trent, hit and hope cross into a packed box, ball cleared.

Any team with pace will give us trouble on the counter. Our midfield personnel have been found out unfortunately slow and athletic. I thought United were decent first 30 mind but wasn't impressed with them after that .. the problem was we were just that bad.

Big problems in that squad, even if lads get back fit they will inevitably be injured down the line. History has showed us this time and time again. Now short of a panic buy we are stuck with this squad. This loss was no surprise, it was coming. We've played 3 average sides and struggled vs every single one of them. We've rested on out laurels the last year or so not addressing glaring issues and we are paying the price.

Yes, even more reason for a refresh and not relying on injury prone players.
